Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5. Occasional overnight work and 10 hour days. Some weekend work may be required.

Overview:
Intern will assist interpretive staff with a variety of tasks including outreach and education programs, and the creation of media products. Field time will be spent creating video clips for use in interpretive videos. The intern will create interpretive media that meets accessibility guidelines and NPS/BLM interpretive standards. Field time and will require overnight camping, late nights and conducting work in high temperatures (excess of 100°F). Camping gear will be provided.

Position Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to create video clips for interpretive use, and the ability to create interpretive media that conforms to the accessibility guidelines and interpretive standards of NPS/BLM.
Qualifications:
This position requires a valid driver’s license, knowledge of how to care for yourself and others in the outdoors, and experience operating a 4 wheel drive truck is an advantage. Candidate must be comfortable working in remote areas with a small group of people, while being capable of quickly adapting to changing plans and priorities. Candidate should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Premier Pro.
